Of course, you can sign up and try Given2 in all its parts for free. In case it perfectly meets your needs, you can choose it and activate the service for the period of time you prefer.

In order to publish your Online Gift List, choose among the three following options:

1. Select the name you want on Given2 for free, e.g. given2.us/SheandHim
2. If you prefer, buy your own domain with Given2, e.g. www.luieleisposi.it
3. If you already have your own website, feel free to embed our Gift List widget! It is as simple as embedding a YouTube video.

It is up to you to decide how much to pay and when!

The creation and management of the Gift List and the Website of the event is free. Therefore, you can make as many attempts as you wish. You pay according to the period during which you want to activate the “Gift receiving” and the “RSVP receiving” at a cost of 1€ per day. Normally, it starts from the announcements/invitations sending process up to one or two days after the event.

Once all has been done, you can activate the service by freely choosing the activation starting and ending date. The payment is in advance and estimated on the number of the days you select. (e.g. 30 days = 30€).

• Before purchasing the service, it is possible to activate a 2 days free trial to explore all the functions of the Website!
• If required, it is also possible to extend the period to a later time by paying the amount corresponding to the added days.

After the activation deadline it will NOT possible to receive Gifts and RSVP anymore (they would be useless, after all). The Website will still be active online with the information as long as you wish. You will have the chance to use it for free, for example, to show and/or receive photos of your event or as an online souvenir.

In a few words: Given2 is the "elegant" option that permits you to receive the amount of your guests' gifts on your personal current account.

Given2 is a web application conceived to create an Online Gift List in the comfort of your own home. The added value of Given2, which makes it different from more traditional gift lists, is the fact that, in addition to concrete gitfs, you can also receive cash gifts directly on your current account.In this way, you will be free to spend it as you wish!

Enough with silver picture frames, enough with department store gifts and travel agencies! Thanks to Given2 the 'owner' of your Gifts is finally you.

In addition to your Gift List, you can create your personal Website fully equipped with further information and useful tools to customise your event.

In fact, differently from other online gift list services, with us you can rest assured: you will always receive 100% of every gift. We do not withhold any commission on your gifts, and never will. On the contrary, we prefer safe and direct payment methods allowing your guests to send their gifts with no commercial mediations.

Think of Given2 as a communication tool between your guests and you. We never appropriate of your gifts, and the cost of our service is totally independent from them.

You can create your own Gift List, along with the Website of your event, in 2 simple cliks from our homepage.

You can make all the attempts you like and personalize your Website. When all is ready, you can buy the service for the extent of the days you selected.

You can share the URL address chosen for your Website with your guests, e.g. given2.us/himandher or www.yourname.com.

Otherwise, your guests can search for your list at given2.com/seach.

When one of your guests send you a gift from your list, you will be sent an e-mail notification and you will be able to check the status of your gift within the Given2 directory.

Your Gift List can be activated by paying for the number of days you choose, and once again you will be able to select the starting and ending days of activation depending on your needs.

The Website of your event is cost-free and limitless: it is up to you to decide wether to keep it online as a souvenir or to shut it down.

Sure! The Website of your event is free with Given2, and will be automatically ready since the moment you sign up.

Then, you will be able to customise it and fill it in with every detail of your event.

Adding personal details on the Given2 website is easy and quick because all the areas are already set up.

In addition to the Gift List, you have many other areas at your disposal: Home, Ceremony, Wedding Party, The Protagonists, RSVP, Messages, Photo Album, Where to Stay and more free Information.

When you create your Gift List on Given2 you are automatically assigned a personal address, which you are free to modify, e.g. given2.us/sheandhim or given2.me/yourname.

Of course you can!

If you like, within the Given2 directory it is possible, with a simple click, to purchase a personal web domain, with 1 year validity, at the cost of 25€.

The website created with Given2 remains the same. Only the web address changes, becoming “easier” and “cuter” to share with your guests.

Make sure you choose carefully your address, so that it will be easy to print it on your invitations and share it with your guests.

Once your address is created, it remains unchanged until you edit it again.

You can directly communicate your Website address to your guests.

The Website of your event is cost-free and limitless: it is up to you to decide wether to keep it online as a souvenir or to shut it down.

Of course! Using our widget, it is possible to incorporate your Given2 Gift List into any other website.

You just need to copy and paste it, as you do for example for YouTube videos.

Once your list is created, you can enter the directory and find the HTML code to copy and paste onto your website.

Your Gift List widget is supported by all site builders allowing to insert JavaScript and HTML code within the website.

No, it is not possible to remove the Given2 logo.
For legal and trust purpuses, we need to garantee that your guests can always have access to our terms and conditions as well as to the privacy policy of the platform they are using.

Given2 is primarily a Gift List service designed to facilitate the gift-giving process for both the celebrants and the guests. It is not possible to remove the Gift List section, as it represents the core of our project.

If you have already created a list in a physical store, you can include the store's details on the site. However, we recommend adding at least one online gift to provide a convenient alternative for your guests.

If you prefer not to create a list, consider that this might make it more complicated for your guests to choose a gift. Offering a gift list helps simplify the process and avoid potential misunderstandings.

Why not make their choice easier from the start?

With Given2, you will be able to add to your list everything you wish for (both real and invented gifts) and choose your “Gift Receiving Service” payment options among:

Bank transfer (optional): guests will receive an e-mail with your bank details in order to pay for the gift via bank transfer. If their bank provides fee-free transfers, no extra cost will be added.

>> Example: Gift costs € 100 > You will receive € 100 > Guest will pay € 100

Credit Card (optional): guests will pay right away on the website via their own credit card. Money will automatically be transferred to your bank account within 7 days with no extra fees. In this case, the credit card circuit (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) adds a transaction fee (EU 1.8% + 0,35¤ / Amex and Non-EU 3.4% + 0,35¤). Of course, said fee will be shown before payment checkout.

>> Example: Gift costs € 100 > You will receive € 100 > Guest will pay € 102.19 > Visa will receive € 2.19

On our website, online payments via credit card are secured by A+ HTTPS protocol.

NOTE: it is possible to take charge of guests' transaction fees.

PayPal (optional): guests will pay online via their own PayPal account; you will receive the money directly on your PayPal account. PayPal adds a transaction fee 3.8% (3,4% + 0,35¤). Of course, said fee will be shown before payment checkout.

>> Example: Gift costs € 100 > You will receive € 100 > Guest will pay € 103.88 > PayPal will receive € 3.88

Online payments are secured by PayPal.

NOTE: it is possible to take charge of guests' transaction fees.

Cash gift (optional): guests will prepare an envelope containing cash or a check, and then they will hand-deliver it on the day of your event (easier for the elderly). Of course, no extra fees are required, except the money needed for the guest to buy the envelope!

>> Example: Gift costs € 100 > You will receive € 100 > Guest will pay € 100

Purchase of the Gift (optional): guests will receive an e-mail containing the gift delivery instructions and the link to the e-commerce of the chosen gift (usually Amazon). In this case, you will not receive money, but a concrete gift.

Therefore, all these options are “money gifts” except for the Purchase of the Gift.

If you enable the Purchase of the Gift, this option will be displayed among the others available for your guests only if:

• The gift you chose is linked to an e-commerce;
• The gift is “whole” (not divided in parts), or, if divided in parts, the guest should select 100% of said parts.

Free your imagination! The Given2 List is not necesserely tied to the choice of concrete objects.

You can range from a "Fridge for your new home" to your "Favourite journey" to "Serenity for a happy new life together".

You are free to invent your favourite gifts! Also, you can get inspired by taking a look at other users' gifts in our community.

Otherwise you can easily use our online offerts search engine.

You choose weather you prefer to receive concrete gifts or cash amounts! You are free to enable one or both the options.

Of course, your guests will be able to choose only among the options you approved.

No. With Given2 you can spend the amounts you receive in total freedom, without any obligation!

No, you will always receive 100% of your Gift because Given2 does not withhold commissions in any case.

There are no additional costs applied to the traditional payment options: Cash Gift, Bank Transfer and Purchase of the Gift. The guests will therefore pay the exact amount they intend to give you as their Gift.

However, if the guests prefer a faster online option, they can choose to pay by Credit Card or PayPal. In this case, the payment circuit will apply a small additional cost, which will be visible under the option chosen.

The credit card circuit adds a 1.9% extra commission to the gift amount (about 2€ on a 100€ gift). PayPal adds a 3.4% extra commission to the gift amount (about 3€ on a 100€ gift).

In spite of a small additional cost, some guests prefer a faster option to pay for their gifts so, when it comes to select your Gift Receiving options, we suggest you to think about the ease and convenience you are offering to your guests.

We advise against it, because the potential additional cost for the guests exists only in case they choose to quickly process the payment online with Credit Card or PayPal.

Nevertheless, in case we failed in persuading you, then it is possible to change these settings so that you can pay the potential additional cost.

On average, the biggest amount received for a gift is about 2.500€. Therefore, for those gifts which are inferior to 2.500€, the total amount is always displayed (e.g 450€): knowing the total amount helps the guests in their decision.

Instead, if the gifts are superior to 2.500€, the displayed amount refers to every single portion (ribbon) of the gift that a guest can buy (e.g portions from 50€).

We do not recommend it, however it is possible to freely change the threshold above which the amount is hidden.

Starting from the second guest who contributes to a gift on, a list is displayed with the names of all the participants.

This is proved to encourage amusement and interaction among the guests.
However, if you prefer you can hide the list of names from your gifts.

You can decide how to set out every single gift in the list, bychoosing among:

• Whole Gift (specific amount): the guest chooses to buy the whole gift.
• Gift divided into portions (we call ribbons) of the wished value: the guest chooses the number of Ribbons (portions).
• Unlimited Fundraising: the guest enters the wished amount.

Yes, they are. The currency conversion rate is automatic and constantly up-to-date.

The currency conversion cost has to be paid by the Gift receiver.

Yes, in fact the IBAN number is not a sensitive data for safety purposes and cannot be used in order to make payments. 

The only possible function of an IBAN number is to send money to the current account linked to it. (Any potential charge is only allowed to financial institutions through a contract that must be signed by the account holder!)

The solution proposed by Given2 aims precisely at avoiding to simply write your IBAN code on your website. By filling up your wedding gift registry the final result will be the same (that is, you will receive the gift amounts directly into your bank account and will be free to spend them as you like and whenever you want), except for the fact that in this way you can also interact with your guests. In fact, they will be able to choose a particular gift that best fits your needs along with the sending of a congratulation message. 

We all prefer personalized gifts over impersonal ones as a wire transfer can be.

E.g. in the case of a travel registry, a nice idea could be to choose something like "a romantic dinner", "a massage for two", "an adventurous hike" and so on.

The amounts you are going to receive from your guests will have a very different taste for both you and them, since they will be intended for a specific purpose.

Furthermore, your guests will be free to choose among several methods of payment (e.g. credit card and Paypal), always sending 100% of your gifts without any extra commission fee.

So we are on solid ground when we say that the final answer is no, we are afraid you can't, because of the reasons we have just explained.

In the guests of honour’s Website, click on “Gift List” from the menu.

Select the amount to offer and a method of payment among the available options, then write your greeting message and provide your email address to receive the payment instructions.

Since every List is different and unique, you will find one or more among the following payment options:

• Bank Transfer: you will receive an email with the bank details you need in order to make the bank transfer ;
• Credit Card: it will be possible to immediately pay for your gift using your credit card ;
• PayPal: it will be possible to immediately pay by using your PayPal account ;
• Cash Gift: prepare an envelope containing cash money or a check; you will personally deliver it to the guests of honour on the day of their event ;
• Purchase of the Gift: you will receive an email containing the instructions to buy and send/personally deliver your gift.

Of course you can! In fact, it is the most important part of the gift giving.

It depends on the gift you pick from the list: you can choose between Whole Gifts and Gifts you can contribute to with portions.

There is no additional cost when choosing traditional options: Cash Gift, Bank Transfer and Buy a Gift.
You will pay exactly the amount you want to offer as a gift.

In case you prefer an online quicker option: Credit Card or PayPal. An additional cost will be applied by the payment circuit and it will be displayed when choosing the option.

Note: each list is different. Therefore, only some of the listed above options are likely to be available.
